This festive and regal arrangement of the beloved Helmsley is designed to bolster congregational singing with 2 Trumpets, 2 Trombones, Timpani, Organ, and Soprano Descant. Additionally, both Trumpet parts have been prepared for C or B-flat instruments.
 
Given that the tune Helmsley is almost exclusively associated with Charles Welsey’s “Lo, He Comes With Clouds Descending,” this arrangement is intended to accompany that text. It is particularly noteworthy that Stanza 2 has the threefold repetition of the words “deeply wailing,” which are treated here with a moderately dramatic effect.
